The best and worst companies to work for in India in 2025.

The 2025 Blind report rankings are out highlighting the intriguing employee perceptions and experiences within a number of companies, ranking them in both the terms of best opportunity of working in India alongside the worst. However the question is “Where are the India’s big four IT companies—TCS, Infosys, HCL, and Wipro?”

While TCS and Infosys are known for stability, job security, and career growth opportunities, they have faced criticism for long hours, bureaucratic processes, and hierarchical cultures that can hinder innovation.

These mixed reviews likely explain their absence from the “best” or “worst” lists. Both companies also offer training and skill development, but employee burnout remains a challenge, particularly in client-facing roles.

Similarly, HCL and Wipro have made strides in embracing digital transformation but struggle with outdated management practices. HCL is sometimes criticized for its stagnant organizational culture, while Wipro faces management issues.

Despite this, both companies offer competitive compensation and career growth, although their employee satisfaction remains more neutral, keeping them off the rankings.

This absence may also reflect a more balanced or neutral perception among the large, diverse workforces at these companies. In contrast, companies like Amazon, Atlassian, and IBM attract attention due to more extreme employee experiences.
