The wedding between Mayuri and Sagar Kadam was initially scheduled for March 12.

However, after Mayuri expressed dissatisfaction with the match, the wedding was called off. Despite this, she allegedly orchestrated an attack on Sagar.

On March 28, Sagar was ambushed near Hotel Sai Misal in Khamgaon on the Solapur-Pune highway. A group of men attacked him with wooden sticks, warning him to stay away from Mayuri.

Following the incident, Sagar filed a complaint, and the Yavat police launched an investigation.

During questioning, Aditya Dangde (19) confessed that he, along with three others, carried out the attack at the behest of Mayuri Dangde and Sandeep Gawde. The police revealed that Mayuri and Sandeep had offered Rs 1.50 lakh to have Sagar assaulted.

The arrested suspects include Sandeep Dada Gawde, Shivaji Ramdas Jare, Indrabhan Sakharam Kolpe, and Suraj Digambar Jadhav. Inspector Narayan Deshmukh confirmed that a four-wheeler and wooden sticks used in the assault were seized.

A case has been registered under multiple sections, and the search for Mayuri continues.
