Virat Kohli Restaurant

For the unversed, Team India star cricketer Virat Kohli had recently opened up a fancy restaurant in Juhu, Mumbai. The restaurant is named One 8 and it quickly emerged as a hot favourite for the locals and also attracts big crowds from outside of Mumbai

Now, coming to the point, there is an interesting development regarding this restaurant as a Tamil-origin social media influencer was not permitted into the restaurant.

The influences dressed up in a traditional Tamil attire – a white Vesti and white shirt, which is a popular and traditional attire in South India.

The social media influencer stood in front of the One 8 restaurant and says he wasn’t let in by the hotel staff as they said he didn’t come in the right attire.

This has anguished the South Indian community on Twitter and they’re firing on Kohli for this untoward incident at his restaurant. This video is going viral on

“If its true then its very unfortunate @imVkohli know your people know your fans and know your customers. Also it’s shocking to know that still we are following some baseless rules like this” an anguished person commented under the video.

“@imVkohli when torn jeans and trousers are considered culture and an actual cultural dress in not. New India I think” another comment read.

Neither Virat Kohli nor the restaurant management have commented on the incident.
