With the tragic suicide of TCS recruitment manager Manav Sharma gaining attention across the nation, new facts are coming out that work to shed more light on the whole incident.
In a 6-minute-long video made before his death, Manav accused his wife Nikita of cheating and asserted it to be the reason behind him ending his own life.
While the initial public reaction was similar to the Atul Subhash case, things gradually began to turn around after Nikita’s chats with Manav’s sister came out.
The chats clearly reveal a shaken Nikita desperately pleading with Manav’s sister to call and check up on him, accurately informing her of the situation and the danger to Manav’s life.
In response, Manav’s sister seems to be taking it lightly, asking her not to worry and go to sleep. She even rejected Nikita’s proposal to inform her father-in-law about the situation, a move now being questioned by many.
In a subsequent video released by Nikita, she clarified her affair to have ended before her marriage. She claimed Manav was a habitual drunk, and had often attempted suicide in the past, many times being saved by Nikita herself.
She even claimed that Manav beat her regularly in a drunken state, leading to more confusion among the public.
Another video was released later ahead, where Nikita seems to be reading off her script, admitting her flaws and the mental stress it gave to Manav.
With the investigation still hot as red iron, it will be interesting to see what new revelations are made as time passes.
