In a rather strange incident, a husband sold their flat by the time his wife returned home after delivery. When the Hyderabad-based techie came to their house in Shanti Nagar, Kukatpally, she found that her husband Sravan sold the flat.
Nikita was the one paying installments for the house only to find strangers by the time she returned. Shocked by the turn of events, Nikita sat in dharna in front of the house with her relatives.
Presently, the husband is absconding without a address. If one goes into details, Nikita and Sravan had a love marriage four years back. Nikita’s parents gave a dowry of Rs 48 lakh back then.
The couple bought the house with a bank loan and Rs 48 lakh. Nikita was the one paying EMIs. Things were fine till Nikita became pregnant and went to her parent’s house for delivery.
Sravan reduced communication and eventually stopped coming to their house. At the time, he claimed he was working in Chennai. After prolonged absence, Nikita came home to find new occupants.
Nikita took the bank loan on her name and did not sign any papers for sale. Nikita has lodged a complaint with Kukatpally police seeking urgent action, as the house was sold without her consent.
