Weddings of celebrities are always a big deal in India. So it was no surprise when news related to South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan’s probable wedding surfaced, it got the attention of the internet.
Several media outlets reported that there have been rumours that the ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ actress is going to marry a Malayalam movie producer. The name of the producer was not made public. But, it was enough to get reactions from everyone.
At last, the actress had to come out herself and give clarity over the rumours. Trisha posted on her X (Twitter) account the following:

“KEEP CALM AND STOP RUMOURING” CHEERS!’
Without taking any names or directly acknowledging the issue, Trisha implied that the news about her wedding is nothing but a rumour.
A fan replied to her post with ‘Slipper shot to her marriage rumours’.

Trisha has had a great year with Ponniyin Selvan: II being one of the highest grossing Tamil movies of the year. Her upcoming movie is ‘Leo’ starring Vijay in the lead role. It will hit the screens on 19 October.
