A video is going viral in which a woman has showcased her journey from signing divorce papers to buying her own car. The woman is being termed as a “Gold Digger” as many are saying that she is passing on a rather toxic mantra to today’s women.
The netizens are making comments, accusing her of first marrying a rich man and then having a child and then divorcing him. All of this, just to get the alimony in the name of the child and calling that money her empowerment.

The internet is calling her a delusional feminist. While many are calling it a bad use of the alimony she is getting for the child, the bitter comments are being countered by many who call out the commenters as biased and misogynistic.
While it is true that the cases of women using up the alimony for personal gain and using divorce as a “get-rich-quick” scheme have come up and continue to pop up, it is not necessarily true. On the other hand, the laws in our country are heavily biased towards the female.

The father has little to no chance of being granted the custody of his daughter. Which makes it a rather one-sided battle for custody in favor of the mother. The woman can still ask for alimony even though they themselves are earning.
Still, the fact that the woman continues to be assaulted virtually by such comments is definitely anti-feminist and misogynistic, as no one is aware of the situation the viral mother must have faced.

Get Hefty Alimony.
Glorify yourself as Victim.
