Rishabh Pant had disappointing day with the bat as he was dismissed for just 10 runs against Jammu & Kashmir in the Irani Cup on Thursday.
Rishabh Pant is currently part of India’s Test setup, and the Irani Cup gave him another red ball game to spend time in the middle. Despite, his innings ended with another poor shot as he failed to make a big score.
The Rest of India captain faced 36 balls and hit one four before trying to attack Umar Nazir. Pant stepped out of his crease, moved towards the leg side and tried to hit the ball through the covers, but the shot did not come off as he wanted.
The dismissal quickly brought Rishabh Pant under fire on social media, with fans questioning his batting and shot selection. The criticism was not only about the 10 runs but also about the way he got out after spending 36 balls at the crease.
For Rishabh Pant low score has once again put the focus on his batting form and shot selection. With India’s next Test assignment ahead, he will want to make his next innings count and spend more time at the crease.
