After the failure of Vrusshabha, Mohanlal is set to return with Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on May 1. His much awaited Drishyam 3 is also planned for release on May 21.
Following Drishyam 3, Mohanlal has teamed up again with director Tharun Moorthy for a cop action comedy. This collaboration has already created strong interest among fans, given their successful track record and past box office performance.
The project, earlier referred to as L366, has now been officially titled Athimanoharam. Mohanlal will be seen playing a sub inspector in the film. The title was revealed along with a first look poster, which is gaining attention online.
Expectations for Athimanoharam are high since Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy’s previous film Thudarum performed exceptionally well. It emerged as the highest grossing film in Kerala last year, increasing anticipation around their latest collaboration.
