Following the failure of Kara, Dhanush is currently starring as the lead in Om directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16th.
Apart from Om, Dhanush also has a commercial entertainer with Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, a historical film with Mari Selvaraj and the highly anticipated Vada Chennai 2 with Vetrimaaran in his lineup. In this scenario, Dhanush recently posted an image on his social media handle, hinting that an update regarding his next project will be announced on July 10th.
Following Dhanush’s post, many people on social media started decoding the image and predicting that the update might be based on his collaboration with Venkat Prabhu, as the image contains the outline of the letters D and V.
In response to the announcement, many Kollywood trackers on social media are claiming that the Dhanush and Venkat Prabhu project has already materialized and been signed. They suggest that this film is going to be a sci-fi thriller and that Sai Abhyankkar will compose the musical album for it.
Meanwhile, since Dhanush already has multiple projects in his lineup, many of his fans are confused about the timeline of this project. They feel Dhanush is adding more baggage by signing multiple films continuously and should take a proper gap between projects.
Additionally, some people are unhappy about this update because they worry that this project might further delay Dhanush’s most anticipated Vada Chennai 2. Therefore, they claim that Dhanush should complete Vada Chennai 2 before starting this sci-fi thriller with Venkat Prabhu.
