Recently, Malayalam actor Dhyan Sreenivasan, at a film’s pre-release event playfully spoke about his political ambitions and indirectly trolled Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, which is now going viral on social media and sparking heated discussions.
So far, Dhyan Sreenivasan has not created a major impact with his acting performance, but he has a huge fan base for his humorous talks in interviews and events.
Dhyan Sreenivasan, at the pre-release event of his upcoming film Visitor, stated that when Vijay became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, he also decided to become a Chief Minister within the next 15 years.
He claimed that when he had this thought, his friend Aju Varghese called him and told him not to try to become the Chief Minister first, suggesting instead that he take the first step by becoming the president of AMMA. Reportedly, Aju Varghese also stated that he could become Chief Minister later, but only after doing charity work and impressing people.
Furthermore, in the same speech he mentioned that when he becomes the Chief Minister, actress Navya Nair should be there in the front row during his swearing-in ceremony, wearing a saree and with tears in her eyes.
Even though Dhyan Sreenivasan did not mention the names of Vijay and Trisha during his speech, many people claim it was evident that he was trolling Vijay and Trisha because during Chief Minister Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony, Trisha attended the event wearing a saree and was seen getting emotional.
Following the viral comments by Dhyan Sreenivasan, many Vijay haters on social media are using this as an opportunity to troll him, suggesting that with just a single speech, the intellectual people of Kerala have taken a dig at Tamil Nadu people for accepting Vijay’s alleged extramarital affair, as well as their social and political awareness. Hence, they suggest that at least from now on, Tamil people should not support Vijay and should start questioning his actions.
Although Dhyan Sreenivasan’s friend Aju Varghese tried to normalize the situation at the same event by noting that Dhyan Sreenivasan spoke unnecessarily and calling him an idiot, many Vijay fans on social media are now thrashing Dhyan Sreenivasan, suggesting that he has no right to make a joke about Vijay and warning him to issue a public apology.
However, Dhyan Sreenivasan’s comments relating to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay continue to go viral on social media and many people are sharing their responses to them.
