Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly (GBU), directed by Adhik Ravichandran, hit theaters on April 10 and received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics.
Despite the lukewarm reception, GBU turned out to be a box office rampage and a visual treat for Ajith fans, packed with stylish looks and mass moments featuring the actor throughout the film.

Interestingly, the journey to GBU wasn’t always on track. After wrapping up Thunivu, Ajith Kumar’s 63rd film was originally expected to be directed by Siruthai Siva, and discussions were underway.
However, due to the delay in Suriya’s Kanguva, Ajith shifted plans and gave the opportunity to Adhik Ravichandran to direct his next film—and thus, GBU was born.

Now, Ajith fans on social media are thanking Suriya for the delay. They believe that if Kanguva had been completed on time, Siruthai Siva would have taken the director’s seat for Ajith’s 63rd, and fans wouldn’t have been thrilled—many consider Siva’s style outdated or cringe-worthy.
GBU has now become the highest-grossing film of Ajith Kumar’s career. Yet, the actor has not announced his next project. All eyes are on who will helm Ajith’s 64th film.
