Some Kollywood trackers believe the team wants to release the film before the election results on May 3. They feel a post-result release could impact the film’s opening if the results do not favour Vijay’s TVK party.
Meanwhile, Dhanush’s Kara is already scheduled for release on April 30. If Jana Nayagan arrives on April 24 or April 30, it could lead to a box office clash affecting Kara’s collections.
