After Dragon and Dude, Pradeep Ranganathan is gearing up for his third release of the year. Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), directed by Vignesh Shivan, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 18th. The film marks another major test for Pradeep in 2025.
Dragon earned success through strong word of mouth. Dude received mixed responses but crossed 100 crores mainly due to Pradeep Ranganathan’s stardom and audience pull. Both films continued his streak of 100 crore grossers, starting from his debut.
With two 100 crore hits already this year, the big question is whether LIK can become his third 100 crore grosser in the same calendar year. The teaser and the first single Dheema created buzz. However, multiple postponements slowed the momentum slightly. Now the film’s performance depends heavily on word of mouth.
If LIK gains positive talk, it has strong potential to reach 100 crores in box office collections. If it does so, Pradeep Ranganathan would become the only actor in India to score three consecutive 100 crore grossers in a single year.
