The expectations for Rajinikanth’s Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, are increasing day by day and some Kollywood trackers are predicting that the pre-release business of Coolie might even reach around 500 crores, potentially making it the highest pre-release business done by a movie in Kollywood.
However, some Kollywood trackers recently conducted polls on the X platform, asking whether Rajinikanth’s Coolie or Vijay’s Jana Nayagan had greater expectations.

Surprisingly, the poll results favored Coolie, with many analysts responding that Coolie is now the most anticipated movie. Even without the release of a teaser, it has a good pre-release buzz, attributed to its power-packed casting and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s direction.
While Vijay is usually dominated by his huge fan base, this time seems different. Even though Jana Nayagan is Vijay’s last movie before his full-time political entry, the buzz for the movie has gradually decreased.

This is also due to speculations that Jana Nayagan is a remake of Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari, and some people feel that it won’t be a proper commercial film for the actor, as his political journey might make Jana Nayagan seem more like a political campaign.
Nevertheless, both movies have solid anticipation, but Coolie has the upper hand and If this trend continues, Coolie has the potential to become the highest-grossing movie in Kollywood.
