Following the back to back failures of Madharaasi and Parasakthi, Sivakarthikeyan is now starring as the lead in Seyon directed by Sivakumar Murugesan. According to reports, the shooting of this film is now happening at a fast pace and almost 60% of the shooting has already been completed.
In this scenario, Sivakarthikeyan was recently featured in a jewellery shop’s television campaign. Since the actor appeared in an advertisement after a very long gap, it immediately went viral on social media and became the talk of the town.
Although Sivakarthikeyan’s fans are very happy to see their favourite actor in a television campaign and are commenting that it is so refreshing to see him in a television ad film, some of his haters are using this as an opportunity to troll him and spread unnecessary rumours against him.
Some contemporaries of Sivakarthikeyan on social media are suggesting that the actor started acting in ad films to compensate for the losses of Parasakthi, Madharaasi and Ayalaan. Furthermore, they claim that the shooting of Seyon was also halted due to some funding issues, which is why Sivakarthikeyan is generating money through ad films to restart the shooting of Seyon.
In response to this, Sivakarthikeyan’s fans got triggered and started claiming that none of these three films was done by him under his own banner, so he might not have faced any losses because of them. They also point out that Parasakthi and Madharaasi were done by Sivakarthikeyan on a profit-sharing basis. Hence, they feel that this is a baseless rumour and people should stop spreading such fake narratives against a star actor of Kollywood.
