Suriya, after the terrible disaster of Kanguva, is now acting as the lead under RJ Balaji’s direction in a film tentatively titled Suriya 45. At the same time, Suriya’s retro movie, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on May 1st.
A few months ago, there was strong buzz that Suriya was going to play the lead in a movie under Venky Atluri’s direction, which is set to be produced by Sithara Entertainment.

However, Sithara Entertainments founder Naga Vamsi, in a recent interview, revealed that he had waited a long time to work with Suriya, and finally, it is going to happen with the Suriya-Venky Atluri combination.
He also mentioned that Suriya will be presented in a way that Telugu audiences love to see him and that it is going to be a very good movie.
Following this update from the producer, Suriya fans celebrated and commented that Venky Atluri proved himself as a promising director with Lucky Bhaskar, expressing hope that this project would help Suriya rise as a pan-Indian star.
