After the failure of Aghathiyaa, actor Jiiva returns with Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, directed by Nithish Sahadev. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release tomorrow and marks an important outing for Jiiva at the Pongal box office.
Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil was initially scheduled for release at the end of January. However, Vijay’s last film Jana Nayagan was postponed, creating a vacant Pongal slot. The makers advanced their release to take advantage of the festive window.
