Dhanush, after Kuberaa, has completed shooting for two movies: Idly Kadai, directed by himself, and the Bollywood movie Tere Ishk Mein, directed by Anand L Rai.
Today, with a Pooja ceremony, Dhanush began shooting for his next, which is tentatively titled D54 and directed by Vignesh Raja, famed for Por Thozhil, and the official announcement, along with a poster, has been released.
At the Pooja ceremony for D54, Vetrimaaran participated as a chief guest, and pictures of him at the event are now going viral on social media.
A few weeks ago, there was strong speculation that Dhanush, the producer of Vadachennai, had demanded around 20 crores to issue an NOC to Vetrimaaran and Silambarasan TR’s untitled project team, as it is also set within the Vadachennai universe.
Even though Vetrimaaran clarified that Dhanush had given the NOC and the rumors were baseless, there were strong social media speculations that Vetrimaaran was forced to post a video in favor of Dhanush, and that both of them were now not on good terms due to the NOC issue.
However, Vetrimaaran’s appearance at Dhanush’s D54 Pooja ceremony has now put a full stop to all those social media speculations and cleared the air.
Many Dhanush fans are now spreading the images of Dhanush and Vetrimaaran from the D54 Pooja ceremony, commenting that Vetrimaaran, by simply attending the event, has given a slipper shot to the Dhanush haters who were spreading baseless rumors against both.
