Yesterday, Vetrimaaran posted a video on YouTube, clarifying that Dhanush has given the NOC for Vadachennai, allowing him to make his project with Silambarasan TR under the Vadachennai universe.
In the video, he also mentioned that his next immediate project would be with Silambarasan TR, and Vaadivaasal was postponed due to delays in the writing process.
Additionally, he stated that the shooting of Vaadivaasal required many precautions, leading to its postponement.
Earlier, when strong buzz arose that Vaadivaasal was getting dropped, many netizens on social media criticized Suriya for this, and some even spread baseless rumors that Suriya was interfering in the script process, causing Vetrimaaran to drop the project.
However, Vetrimaaran himself has now confirmed that the Vaadivaasal project is being postponed due to delays in the writing process.
Following this, many Suriya fans on social media are spreading this video and responding that now it’s clear that Suriya is not the reason behind Vaadivaasal being shelved, and they are hoping that it will resume soon in the future.
