Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai 2, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the lead roles, is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on December 20th.
Viduthalai 2 recently completed its censorship and has acquired an A-rated certificate, with a runtime of around 2 hours and 52 minutes.

According to the censorship report, some scenes and shots were modified wherever they referred to real political organizations. Additionally, in some scenes, caste-oriented dialogues were muted, and, as usual, some cuss words in the movie were also muted.
Gory visuals were blurred in the bomb blast sequence of the movie. The censorship report clearly indicates that Viduthalai 2 is a bold attempt from the team that directly critiques some political aspects, as some ideology-oriented dialogues were also modified.
