From a friendly chatbot that will organize your daily life, which will solve your basic queries, and write your emails and assignments to teach you University level courses, this will sum up the growth of AI.
Harvard University has a renowned course CS50 and they are taking the help of an AI bot for the course. With the inclusion of ChatGPT 3.5 and ChatGPT 4, the professors will be designing an AI instructor.
Now, a group of people getting scared of this step as they see this step which will replace Professors. But it is far from that as this decision will make the 1:1 communication better than ever.
Also, the CS50 course at Harvard is an introductory one in computer science which will be easily manageable by any AI bots. CS50 professor David Malan told the Harvard Crimson, “Our own hope is that, through Al, we can eventually approximate a 1:1 teacher: student ratio for every student in CS50, by providing them with software-based tools that, 24/7, can support their learning at a pace and in a style that works best for them individually,”
This step has immense potential, AI will make the whole process really smooth. But the course will lose its human touch, it will lose the human interaction. And for a classroom course, the professor-student relations make it a great experience. If the students will lose this chance, they will also lose the interest.
