How Does The Future Work Looks Like In AI Era

Artificial-Intelligence-AI

The focus of recent talks about how artificial intelligence (AI) may affect jobs. AI may eliminate a sizable percentage of occupations in the scenario, increasing inequality as a small capital-owning class amasses productive surpluses.

In the scenario, the very rich would be obliged to share their wealth through a universal basic income, realising Marx’s vision of communism. In both cases, productivity gains from AI are expected to push even highly compensated experts to work alongside truck drivers.

AI tycoons will have to be forced to share their money by those left behind. In both cases, there is reason for hope because the benefits of AI are so great that the very wealthy may be willing to forgo a small amount of money.

Human psychology might be adaptable enough to make a world of plenty and little to no effort seem like a blessing rather than the end of the world.

Unemployment, however, has been linked to serious psychological consequences, such as early mortality, depression, drunkenness, anxiety, and social disengagement. Additionally, there is a higher risk of overdose and suicide among unemployed people.

The long-term issue presented by AI might be how to maintain employment in a society where the value of human labour declines.
