According to Sam Altman, CEO of Open AI, Indian tech-wiz Prafulla Dhariwal played a key role in the development of Chat Gpt 4o(o for Omni). Recently released Gpt 4o is an advanced form of AI that is capable of advanced reasoning across audio, vision, and text modalities in real-time. The leaps of advancements it has taken compared to its predecessor are remarkable and the CEO has publicly given credit to the Omni team, especially one core member named Prafulla Dhariwal. Indian-origin techie Prafulla has contributed a lot to the tech industry. Altman took to X (formerly known as Twitter), to appreciate Prafulla’s efforts and said that it wouldn’t have happened if not for him.
Prafulla is a boy from Pune who has achieved a mountain of academic success. From scoring 295 out of 300 in class 12 to cracking JEE-Mains with a stunning score of 330 out of 360, his brain power knows no limits. Dhariwal went on to pursue B.tech in Computer Science from MIT and even before his graduation OpenAI gave him an internship.
This prodigy later helped develop the DALL-E 2 image generation tool that plays a key role in this advanced AI, along with Gpt 4o.
