Meta is currently facing challenges as it takes numerous hits in recent times. People are increasingly concerned about the privacy issues on most Meta platforms, and Instagram is adding to the problems for Mark Zuckerberg’s ventures.
Many users are complaining about Instagram being down, but neither Instagram nor Meta has issued an official statement about the issue. However, on Downdetector, people are discussing the problem.
Currently, the majority of the issues are reported by Android users, while iPhone users don’t seem to be experiencing these problems. Some users have even taken to Twitter (referred to as “X” here) to voice their concerns about the issue.
Users are encountering various types of issues. Some can’t refresh their feed, some have experienced a blank Instagram interface, and others are having problems with the direct message features.
These issues are not limited to just the app; a significant percentage of them are occurring on the website as well.
