Microsoft and OpenAI are collaborating on a $100 billion data centre project. The “Stargate” AI supercomputer, scheduled for debut in 2028, will be housed at the centre. It is anticipated that Microsoft would fund the project, which will likely be less expensive than even the biggest data centres.
