The craze surrounding iPhones in India is multifaceted. Firstly, Apple’s brand image, associated with innovation, luxury, and exclusivity, appeals to many Indians. Owning an iPhone is often seen as a status symbol and a marker of one’s social and economic success.
And so, Apple’s Wonderlust event, set to take place at the Steve Jobs Theater today, is generating great excitement as it promises to unveil the highly anticipated iPhone 15 and new Apple Watches.
The iPhone 15 rumors have been incessant, ranging from incremental updates to the possibility of an iPhone 15 Ultra. The event’s cryptic invitation features an Apple logo composed of dust-like particles with grooves, leaving room for speculation about its meaning, possibly hinting at design changes or improved camera capabilities.
In India, the anticipated price for the Apple iPhone 15 Pro is estimated to be around Rs 1,13,000, while the starting price for the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to be approximately Rs 1,40,000.
The iPhone 15 series is anticipated to bring notable upgrades, including USB-C charging for all models, A17 Bionic chips for Pro models, larger screens with slimmer bezels, and exciting features like “Dynamic Island” and enhanced zoom capabilities.
Additionally, the event may also introduce the Apple Watch Series 9, an upgraded Apple Watch Ultra, and a USB-C charging case for AirPods Pro.
We have to wait and see if the new iPhone series will become a hit like the iPhone 12, which was the best-selling iPhone model, or if it will flop badly like the iPhone 6.
