Truecaller has become one of the essential apps for day-to-day usage in India. With the increasing availability of technology, Cybercrime also seems to be on the rise. Truecaller is a very helpful assistant that enables its users to identify spam callers and people with unethical intentions.
Recently CEO of Truecaller, Alan Memdi claimed that they are working on a new spam identification model and it’ll be more efficient in targeting scammers and spam callers, pushing the spam detection model to a higher level. Via a post on “X”, (previously known as “Twitter”), he warned the scammers of India and said that his beloved Indian users would highly benefit from this as it would make day-to-day calls more assuring and secure.
He also mentioned his laser focus on protecting his users from these kinds of unethical cyber criminals. This update will primarily be helpful for Indian users. The rise of spam calls and fraud is becoming a big issue for the government as well and they are also considering taking measurements to detect these cases early. This update will surely be a big help towards that goal.
