Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio Infocomm is ready to dive into the world of AI and it is partnering with the tech Giant NVIDIA. NVIDIA released a press statement sharing the information about this new partnership that will help in developing AI technologies in India for India. The scale of supercomputing involved in the process will be much higher than the capacity of the supercomputers functioning in the country right now.
NVIDIA is famous for its high end super chips, graphics cards and cloud services. The company will be providing services of its NVIDIA DGX Cloud, which is an AI supercomputing technology. Reliance already has a huge customer base of over 450 million people for whom they will prepare AI applications and services.
Reliance jio will offer its network of 5G spectrum, fiber network and the customer base in this partnership. It is a big step forward for AI in India as it can help Jio develop Large Language Models like GPT for the Indian market. Jansen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA said,” we are delighted to partner with Reliance to build state-of-the-art AI supercomputers in India”.
