The monopoly that OpenAI enjoyed in the field of generative AI is now being challenged by other big players who have entered the arena. ChatGPT created a sensation with its launch and became the most used model soon. Google’s Gemini is now giving strong competition to OpenAI and with the launch of Gemini Pro, it can potentially put OpenAI out of the race.
Gemini Pro which will be available on Bard will function in more than 40 languages and will be accessible in 230 countries. The Gemini Pro will feature a text to image feature that is considered to be superior to the current model used by openAI.
Gemini Pro will also ensure a clear distinction between AI generated work and authentic work by humans by adding watermark to the pixels. Google’s Bard has overtaken ChatGPT 4.0 and experts believe that the rollout of ChatGPT 5.0 is necessary for OpenAI to survive in the business.
Google’s Gemini has made collaborations with companies to integrate it into hardware. Samsung’s new AI smartphones are now built with Gemini capabilities. OpenAI hasn’t been able to strike similar deals.
