The Time Magazine has released the list of 100 most influential people in the field of Artificial intelligence (AI). This is the inaugural list of Time’s TIME100 AI. Dominating this list are people from India and of Indian origin. The list includes 11 names of Indian origin. These are the people who have a big impact in the development, application and control of AI technology in our day to day life.
The list features names like Sneha Revanur, Neal Khosla, Romesh and Sunil Wadhwani etc. Sneha Revanur is also the youngest honoree in the list achieving the feat at the age of 18. She’s the founder of Encode Justice and was also invited by the Vice President, Kamala Harrisf for a round table discussion on AI.
Neal Khosla works in the field of AI tools assisting the medical fraternity. He is the founder and CEO of Curai Health. The Wadhwani brothers who established Wadhwani AI, have worked addressing developmental issues in regions where the daily income of people is less than $5.
Others who made it to the list include Pushmeet Kohli, Kalika Bali, Arvind Narayan and Sayash Kapoor. The list has come as an acknowledgement of the contributions of the Indian community in the field of science and technology.
