The number of shocking crimes committed by Indian-origin individuals abroad are on an alarming rise and here is one such instance involving a 23-year-old Indian man who is charged with the murder of an Indian woman in London.
The shocking incident happened in Croydon of South London where a 23-year-old Indian man, Sahil Sharma allegedly killed Mehak Sharma.
Mehak was found with stab wounds to her body when the police and paramedics arrived at the scene. She was pronounced dead as she had suffered blood loss due to the stabbing. Sahil Sharma was arrested on the scene.
Incidentally, Mehak had arrived in the UK only recently and the police hadn’t yet established the relationship between her and the suspect, Sahil. A special post-mortem will take place today to give an insight into the nature of the wound.
Sahil was arrested by the police at Ash Tree Way in Croydon on Sunday and he will be presented before Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
