Indians living outside India in Western countries have always boasted about how fast they could drive in those countries. Having better road conditions do allow them to experience higher speed limits but this always comes attached with a risk.
Every now and then we’re reminded how speed can kill. This is what tragically happened with an Indian-American who lost his life after a car accident in Indianapolis.
The 42 year old victim of the crash, Sukhwinder Singh was driving his Honda Accord on the 12th of October when the car lost its control and headed straight into the opposite lane. On the other side of the road, he crashed head on with a Cadillac Escalade.
This resulted in both cars getting stuck. A total of three people were trapped inside their vehicles.
The first responders found the vehicles and helped them get to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, the very next day, Sukhwinder succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The man first moved to the USA in 1996. He hailed originally from Hoshiarpur district, Punjab.
The other two people in Cadillac have suffered severe injuries as well and are currently being treated for them
