Twitter owner Elon Musk shocked everyone by announcing that the social media platform will be getting rid of its iconic bird logo soon. He also revealed that the Twitter brand will eventually be replaced and all references to birds will be removed.
Since Musk took over Twitter and merged it with X Corp., he has been making significant changes. This includes layoffs and introducing a paid verification plan.
Recently, Twitter announced that it will impose limits on the number of direct messages unverified users can send to reduce spam. However, users with paid verification can send unlimited DMs, likely as part of Twitter’s strategy to promote Twitter Blue, a subscription service.
This overhaul represents one of the biggest transformations of Twitter since Musk’s ownership began. The platform has seen substantial changes, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the popular social media site.
