According to one of the close allies of Trump, he is planning to attack all media houses which according to him conspired against the 2020 presidential elections. Kush Patel who made these remarks had held several important positions in the Trump administration.
Indian origin Kash Patel was the chief of staff in the defense department under Donald Trump. Speaking at a podcast, he said that a second Trump administration would retaliate against people in the media “criminally or civilly”.
The campaign is hot at the moment and nobody wants to make enemies in the media houses right now. Therefore the Trump campaign has distanced itself from the remark made by Kush Patel.
While talking at a Fox News Channel interview, a channel which has been alleged as Pro Trump, Donald Trump refused to say that he will not abuse power to seek retribution.
It is speculated that Kush Patel might get the role of CIA director in a second Trump administration. However, the campaign refused to answer any questions regarding this.
