According to media reports, travel agents in Punjab and Haryana are still flooded with aspirants willing to take illegal routes to chase the American Dream. The infamous ‘Dunki’ route is still thriving as young men sneak into the US via Africa and South America.

Another route through the Bahamas is even riskier as many have died trying to enter from that region. Packed into overcrowded boats, people continue to file in despite knowing the dangers.
The latest report comes as a shock following the news of Trump sending 205 illegal Indian immigrants back to the country in a military aircraft. If we go by his presidential campaign, this might only be the first step as America prepares for mass deportation.
