In a very shocking incident, an Indian origin man was shot dead in Phillipines. The deceased is a 58 year old Sikh man from Punjab. He worked as a financier in Philippines. The tragic news reached the family of the deceased on Saturday. The man was shot down by unidentified men when he was on his way back after work.
The man had been working in the finance business in Phillipines for the last five years. He used to visit his home in Punjab often and had been to his place only a few months back. He hailed from Nand Singh Avenue in Khanna Town, Ludhiana, Punjab.
His son was also employed as a financier in Philippines. According to one of the family members, he talked to his daughter on video call before the incident happened. The man had a wife, a son and two daughters.
The family of the deceased wants the government to help them get his body back as soon as possible. One of the family member said that it might take 10-15 days to get the body back to India. The process could be hastened if the centre interferes.
