
After being formally nominated as the Democrat candidate for the presidential elections, Kamala Harris seems to have checked the first thing on her to-do list. She has proved that she has an active support of a large number of democrats, probably even more than what Biden had. She has managed to raise $81 million on her first day as the official candidate for the election.

Kamala Harris has kicked off her election campaign and it has resulted in a spurt of new energy among the voters resulting in the large amount of money raised. Her campaign informed that nearly 880,000 donors donated to her within 24 hours of her nomination.
60 percent of these donors have donated for the first time in the 2024 cycle which suggests that democrats are putting more trust in Harris than they had for Joe Biden. The trend suggests that Biden’s stepping down has proved to be beneficial for the democrats.

With Harris starting her campaign on a positive note, there’s an opportunity for the democrats to turn the wind and take Trump on with everything he attacked Biden for. She begin her campaign by opposing Trump’s total abortion ban plans and promised to restore reproductive rights if she gets elected.
