A regular operation by the social services in the United Kingdom has resulted in widespread riots in the city of Leeds. Reports of buses being burnt and mass destruction of property have surfaced. The law enforcement agencies have failed to contain the riots and the situation is still critical.

The situation worsened when social services allegedly took away a child belonging to one of the families. It is reported that the child was abused in their own house and that is why the social services took away the child for their well being.
This infuriated the families in the neighborhood who started rioting on the streets. A police car was also allegedly flipped by the rioters. It is believed that the people involved in rioting are minority groups however it is not clear yet who all are behind this.

The area of Leeds in which the rioting took place has a large South Asian population. However, some reports suggest that the Romanians were involved. The claim has not been verified and it is very early to say more about it. It is advised that people in the region stay safe and keep their distance from such incidents.
