Telugu Techie Akash Bobba in DOGE

Donald Trump and his new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have been the subject of controversies since its establishment. This trend continues as a man of Telugu origin has become a major problem for Americans.

According to reports, Akash Bobba, a 22-year-old former intern at Meta, has landed a key role in DOGE along with five other young professionals, giving them access to US federal systems. This has come as a shocker for everyone as none of them has any prior government experience.

The six young individuals have put the Elon Musk-led department under scrutiny as five of them are barely graduates and one of them is still studying at college. Yet, all of them reportedly have government emails and top-tier security clearance, putting the sensitive data at risk.

Bobba’s former classmate came to support him and told an instance where he once rewrote an entire deleted project overnight and made it better. But is that enough for the Telugu-origin techie to be a top government executive at this young age?
