The Telugu region comprising Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have had this craze for studying abroad for a long time now. Many students are driven to countries like the US, Canada, UK, Australia and Germany in search of a better opportunity.

Students see studying abroad as a valid investment for the return that is promised and hence are not reluctant to spend high tuition fees and maintain an expensive cost of living.

Indians spent a total of $37 billion studying abroad in 2019 but that number is projected to be more than $70 billion by 2025.
