Trump's Win: Activist Murders His Whole Family

In a shocking incident, a man in Minnesota killed his wife, ex-partner, and two sons before taking his own life. The man, presumed to be mentally ill, is thought to have done so following Trump’s election victory.

Anthony Nephew was known for posting anti-Trump content online. In one of his Facebook posts, he expressed fears about religious “zealots” and disturbing thoughts about persecution.

On Thursday, police found the bodies of Nephew’s ex-partner Erin Abramson, and their son in one home. Meanwhile, his current wife Kathryn and their seven-year-old son were found in the family’s main home, where Nephew had shot himself as well.

The 46-year-old man used to accuse Republicans of policies that make it “harder for women to leave” abusive relationships. He was unhappy with the direction America was going, even comparing it to the dystopian fictional novel “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

“My mental health and the world can no longer peacefully coexist,” Nephew wrote in a July post. There were other warning signs like this but sadly no one could save the family in time.

Seeing his past and Trump’s election win just days prior, people are speculating that might have aggravated his mental illness. However, the police have yet to determine what drove Nephew to this tragic end.
