If there’s something we can learn from the United Kingdom is how not to treat your leader who comes from an ethnic minority group. Prime Minister of the UK, Rishi Sunak felt disappointed after he was subjected to racial slur by a far right party campaigner, a supporter of Nigel Farage.
He expressed his hurt and anger at the incident to the reporters on Friday. Sunak made sure that this incident is not taken lightly and that’s why he decided to speak up. This just highlights the level of racism that still exists in the UK.
Speaking at a news channel, the supporter called Sunak a fu**ing Paki. It is a racial slur used against people of South Asian descent in the UK. If the Prime Minister is subjected to such treatment then we can only imagine what the common South Asians must be facing.
Nigel Farage has distanced himself from the remarks made by the supporter. The UK is going to vote on the 4th of July and Rishi Sunak is expected to lose his post as the Prime Minister. Making such remarks against him has brought the level of politics to a new low in the country.
