US CEO Fires 99 Employees

In an appalling move, a US CEO fired 99 out of his 110 employees just hours after hiring most of them.

The trigger point for the CEO was when only 11 employees showed up for a morning meeting on Slack. Following the incident, he wrote an email to the 99 absentees and ended it with swears, writing, “Get the F**k out of my business right now.”

An intern of the company shared the screenshot of the email on Reddit sparking a huge debate. He didn’t share the name of the company but CEO’s name was addressed as Baldvin.

While some users came to his defense, the majority of them were critical of this extreme move. Some were questioning the CEO’s leadership ability as he failed to convey the importance of the meeting to such a large group.

They also speculated that this might be a sign of financial trouble for the company, with the CEO using the missed meeting as an excuse to fire workers. Others had humorous responses asking why even 11 attended the meeting.

Regardless of the reasoning, firing almost an entire workforce for one mistake is harsh and over the top. It raises questions about leadership, communication, and the work culture of the company.
