Immigration fraud has been rising, especially among those looking to live, work, or study in the US. The Delhi Police arrested 108 fake agents at Indira Gandhi Airport this year, double the number from last year.
USCIS advises to be aware of scammers trying to contact you as officials. Their emails often have typos, unofficial domains like .net and .org instead of .gov, or promises of fast approvals for extra fees.

If anyone receives such suspicious emails, you can forward them to the USCIS webmaster email. This will confirm the authenticity of the message and will help you report such frauds.
