A woman in Florida, who went missing a few days ago was found by CVS on Tampa Road. Anu Awasthi, an Indian-origin woman, had disappeared mysteriously on 10 Aug after her husband dropped her off for a hair appointment.
The mystery around her disappearance is getting gloomier since the area she was rescued from had been searched already. Anu was taken to a hospital upon recovery as she was in shock.
Florida has the second-highest cases of missing people in the USA. The rate for missing persons in the state is 6 per 100,000. Only California leads the list with more than 2,000 cases per year, where the incidents of human trafficking is a reality as well apart from its large population to add to the numbers.
It is a miracle that Anu was found unharmed and in not-so-poor health given that the temperature in the area was around 111, as per the reports. Whether the mystery will be solved or will it go down as another unsolved mystery, given the person was found, only time will tell.
