On Wednesday afternoon, around 15 armed men stormed the store, smashed display cases, and made off with a significant haul of gold and diamond jewelry, along with several Rolex watches.

Last year, the FBI busted a violent crime ring, arresting over a dozen members for a series of armed robberies targeting Indian jewelry stores across multiple states, including New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Florida, and Pennsylvania. However, it seems this has not deterred other robbers.

A video capturing the aftermath of the Fremont robbery is circulating on social media.

In the video, a voice can be heard saying, “15 people just started smashing away. Luckily nobody is hurt.” Eyewitnesses reported seeing one suspect flee towards a nearby mall and another towards a high school.

Investigations are currently underway. Bhindi Jewelers, renowned for its Indian jewelry and watches, has branches in California and Atlanta.
