Not many films have achieved the cult status that certain animes have created over the years. The fanbase of some anime are unmatched and therefore it gives an opportunity to filmmakers to tap that potential. After the grand success of One Piece live action film by Netflix, there’s one more superhit anime whose live action movie is in the works.
Lionsgate is working on the live-action version of one of the most popular anime, Naruto. The precedent was set by Netflix’s One Piece which became an instant hit all across the world allowing users to have something to consume in a different language.
The Naruto live action adaptation is written by Tasha Huo and work is still in progress for the film. The movie was in plan since 2015 only at Lionsgate. The creator of the Naruto Manga, Masashi Kishimoto is co-developing the movie.
There is no release date announced as of now for the movie. The news has brought a new excitement among the fans of Naruto. This new trend of developing anime into live action film is gaining popularity with success.
