The much-awaited film that was highly speculated in the Yash Raj Film’s spy universe has exclusively revealed its title. ‘Alpha’ is going to be a one-of-a-kind film released in the spy universe that features films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘War’, and ‘Pathan’. Fans are now and again teased by upcoming films like ‘Tiger Vs Pathan’, ‘War 2’, and ‘Pathaan 2’.
‘Alpha’ is going to be unique because it is a female-led spy thriller that will have Bollywood’s A-Star Alia Bhatt who has recently expanded her stardom further with her Hollywood debut in ‘Heart Of Stone’ and Sharvari whose career has just come into the limelight with ‘Munjya’ and ‘Maharaj’. In recent years we have seen male-led action-thriller spy adventures. Even when the female leads were strong they were never given the due credit. ‘Alpha’ which will be directed by Shiv Rawail seems to challenge this prejudice. As YRF stated there is a misinterpretation around only men being Alphas, this franchise led by a highly talented star cast is set to prove that women can be Alphas too!
As intriguing as the name of the film is, we have yet to see what else the film offers. While YRF has made big massy and glamorous films, a solid script and nuanced characters have not been their strongest suits. We can hope that ‘Alpha’ works on these issues as well! The fans will be super excited for more teasers, trailers, and first-look.
