Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’ has failed to score big at the Box Office, despite getting positive reviews on Netflix for its humour and ensemble cast.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film features other prominent names like Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, Aditya Seal, and Fardeen Khan.

While the film was able to win over the social media audience, the numbers did not seem to reflect in its earnings on Netflix.
The total viewership of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ over three weeks has turned out to be 8.9 million, placing it 0.7 million short of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, Akshay’s other failed project.

Despite getting poor reviews both in theatres and on Netflix, BMCM trended for 3 weeks on Netflix’s global top-10 list. ‘Khel Khel Mein’ was unable to beat BMCM, despite getting favourable reviews.
The week-by-week viewership of ‘Khel Khel Mein’ has turned out to be 4 million on its debut, followed by 3.4 million and 1.3 million views in the 2nd and 3rd weeks respectively, according to reports.

It also managed to secure the 9th position on Netflix’s top trending films globally, demonstrating positive word-of-mouth. However, that was not enough to propel the film towards being a hit.
Akshay Kumar seems to be going through a bad phase in his professional life where his films are unable to perform despite positive feedback.
